    A: Technik Cabinetry System provides:
  • 1. 20% more cubic storage space for 84”H storage area
  • 2. Cabinets ship assembled versus parts & pieces you need to assemble
  • 3. Installation is easier & faster with assembled cabinets
  • 4. Full extension, soft close drawer slides as standard

  • What drawer/door styles does Technik offer?
    A: Technik finishes are available in 5 beautiful door/drawer styles:
    1.Cologne a flat contemporary door style
    2.Frankfurt also a flat contemporary style but with an integrated pull
    3.Bavaria a shaker style with recessed center panel
    4.Rhine a more traditional style front with radiused frames and a recessed center panel
    5.Saxony is a beaded miter door with a recessed center panel
  • How many finishes does Technik Cabinet System offer?
    A: Technik Cabinetry offers eleven furniture finishes in two series to suit all decorating styles:
    Designer Series (smooth texture) - Basic white Bianco, sophisticated Almond, rich Cognac, deep red Cherry, dark Espresso, modern Natural, and modern Taupe.
    Architect Series (3D wood grain texture) - Bright white Glacier, warm gray Platinum, light tan Beach, and dark Twilight.
  • Do Technik Cabinets require any assembly?
    A: All Technik cabinets and drawer systems are fully assembled and arrive ready to be installed. All that is required is some basic cabinet installation. Adjustable Furniture Shelves and Closet Rods are supplied in 48” lengths so you can trim them as needed to fit your exact space.
  • Can I see Technik Closets in a Costco store?
    A: No, Technik Closets are only available from Costco.com
  • Are Technik Cabinets inspected before they leave the factory?
    A: Quality assurance begins with our trained cabinet builders who pride themselves on the quality of their work. In addition, each cabinet has to pass a thorough inspection by our QC team before it is packaged for shipment to your home.
  • What is the warranty for Technik Closets?
    A: Technik Closets has a Limited Lifetime Warranty that covers the product for the lifetime that you own the product. View the warranty documentation here.
  • What does CARB compliant mean?
    A: CARB stands for the California Air Resources Board which has put standards in place for formaldehyde emissions for indoor air quality on consumer products for the state of California. Technik products meet or exceed these standards.
  • What is the delivery time?
    A: Each Technik Cabinetry System is built to order and will ship within 10 business days. Delivery to your home or jobsite will require a further 3-5 days depending upon delivery location.
  • What is Curbside Delivery?
    A: Your cabinetry will be delivered to your home's curbside address. This is your opportunity to check your delivery against the bill of lading and to inspect product for any visible damage. You are responsible for moving the product inside your home.
  • How do I measure for my closet?

  • How do I install the Technik Cabinetry System?
    A: Installation of your Technik Cabinetry System is simple and only requires some common household tools. Our Installation Guide will walk you through each step of the process. Click here to view the Installation Guide.
  • Are there any special tools needed for installing Technik Closets?
    A: No, if you plan to install Technik yourself, only standard DYI tools are needed such as: pencil, tape measure, level, drill, drill bits, hammer, screwdrivers (Phillips and slotted), c-clamps or Quick Grips, ladder, shims, hacksaw and circular saw.   • Can Technik Closet be delivered direct to my installer?
    A: Yes, provided the installer has a secure dry area for unloading and storing the order.
  • Will Technik warehouse my order until I need it?
    A: Technik cabinets are manufactured immediately after receipt of your order. We do not inventory assembled cabinets and recommend that you do not order your Technik cabinets until they are needed. We can delay production of your order, if you provide a desired ship date(no later than 30 days) from the time you place your order.
  • How are Technik Cabinet Systems constructed?
    A: All Technik cabinets are constructed from 3/4" thick furniture grade particleboard, which is covered with a durable low pressure (melamine) laminate. Adjustable shelves and installation rails are also 3/4" thick. Cabinets feature a captured 1/4" thick back panel, for additional strength. Once assembled, with hardwood dowel and glue joints, each cabinet passes through a computer controlled case clamp, which guarantees a square precise cabinet every time
  • What type of drawers does Technik provide?
    A: Technik Cabinetry base cabinets are available with a range of drawer options. The 4-sided drawer boxes are factory assembled from 3/4" thick furniture grade particleboard, using hardwood dowels and glue joinery. They also include a fully captured, 1/4" thick bottom panel. All Technik drawers feature strong full-extension Soft Close ball bearing runners as standard, for a smooth self-closing operation every time.
  • What is the exterior and interior finish of the Technik Closet?
    A: Technik cabinets feature a sanitary, wipe-clean low pressure laminate (melamine) interior and exterior for easy maintenance. And all cabinets include a Matching Interior finish as standard.
  • Will my shelves sag if loaded with heavy products?
    A: Shelves in Technik cabinets are a full 3/4" thick, laminated furniture grade particleboard for maximum strength. They are adjustable to meet your custom storage needs.
  • What is the “Soft Close” door feature?
    A: All Technik Cabinetry System doors are mounted on European 6-way adjustable hinges, which also include a Soft Close feature that prevents doors from being slammed shut.
  • How are the base cabinets reinforced?
    A: Two 3/4" think furniture board “I beams” are used for additional stability, also for counter top mounting and attachment to upper cabinets.
  • Can I get a customized design to suit my personal requirements?
    A: Yes, Technik Cabinetry Systems offers a FREE Design Service. Simply fill out our online design request form and provide the measurements of your room or closet and our professional designers will create a custom layout and 3D renderings accommodate your specific needs.
  • What if something is missing from my order?
    A: Verified shortage will be shipped “at no charge” and freight prepaid. Shortage clam/hidden damages and shortages claims must be within 72 hours of delivery.
  • What if I need to order an additional cabinet or accessory?
    A: Contact Technik Cabinetry Design Services at: 866-285-9104 and they will assist you in ordering the additional items you require.

  • Receiving your order?
    A:
    1. Customer must receive, inspect, and sign for all deliveries.
    2. If the items(s) that you purchased become damaged during shipment please document the damage with the freight company upon delivery and notify us immediately by calling 866-367-2516.
    3. Items should be checked against the bill of lading and packing slip supplied by driver for each delivery.
    4. The bill of lading indicates the number of cartons in the delivery. It does not represent the number of pieces as some items may be boxed together such as shelves, rods, molding, hardware, etc.
    5. Cartons with multiple items will have separate labels on the carton for each item included and be so labeled on the packing slip.
  • Return Policy?
    A: Technik Cabinetry System orders are custom manufactured for the Costco Member. For further information on returns, please contact Costco Customer Service at 1-800-955-2292 or email Costco Customer Service at customerservice@costco.com within 72 hours of receipt of order for instructions.
